Location is great, short walk from the railway station. The hotel has its own beach, it was not crowded. The buffet dinner is excellent and so is the view from the sky bar.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay!

Pretty much everything was amazing. - We were all positively surprised by the breakfast and dinner options. Great buffet tables. We simply do not understand the negative reviews about the food at this hotel - there was so much to choose from that you have to be really picky not to like anything :D - The private beach for hotel guests is a great touch, the spa/wellness (sauna, pool) was very nice, too. Extra towels and bathrobes in the closet. - Lots of parking space and easy to access. - Most of the staff seemed friendly, kind and professional. - Nice views from the hotel room - we had family members accommodated on both sides of the hotel (8th floor) and everyone had (at least a partial) lake view, so if you want to go cheaper, skip the extra for a "lake view room" ;)

The following are just comments on what could be improved - we really liked our stay and would come again for sure! - We only stayed for two nights and did not ask for the room to be cleaned, however the cleaning staff took two of our towels away (there were not thrown on the floor) and did not replace them, so we had to go to the reception to ask for new ones. - As mentioned in other reviews, sometimes you need to wait a long time for the elevator. Once we took it from the 8th floor down to the ground floor and were "stopped" mid-journey by staff who wanted to take it as well but did not fit in anymore - the young employees just rolled their eyes and sighed - we understand they are simply trying to work but it was a bit unprofessional ;) - The beds were too soft for my taste but other family members accommodated in other rooms liked them. - If I'm being really picky, I would welcome fresh fruit juices for breakfast and dinner, and not only those "artificial" tasting ones from the machines :) - The price of the room was surprisingly high for what I'd expect in Hungary, which just makes me wonder how many locals could afford this hotel, but it is justified by the high quality of services and amenities and by the high tourist season.

Wonderful

The buffet for breakfast and dinner was great! Gluten-free food was always available and labelled. The room was really nice. Further, the hotel offers a great indoor pool with multiple aqua massage functions, a private beach at the Lake Balaton and various saunas.

Great hotel, will want to come back!

Amazing view on the lake from the room. Room very nice. Fantastic breakfast. Great Spa area with several types of saunas, very warm pools and a sunbathing deck.

I would have loved the gym to be much better equipped. It's beautiful but could be more functional. Also, being able to access gym and pool only between 8 AM and 8 PM is a limitation, it would be great if one could access those before breakfast and until 10 PM for example. Also, It would be great to have some more separation, at least visual from the somewhat busy street when sitting in the garden of the hotel.

Excellent value, great wellness experience.

Staff was courteous and welcoming. Food was excellent and varied. Pool was good size and sauna had several options, all in great condition and clean. Plenty of private parking. Directly across the street from the walking and biking trails around Lake Balathon.

Wonderful view to Lake Balaaton and lots of choice for dinner and breakfast as well. The hotel and room looks very good, it has a pleasent atmosphere.

Wellness and fitness closed too early (9 p.m.) for me but I gues it is out of season thats why they closed it.

Great hotel with amazing views, exceeding your expectations

Breakfast was great, a wide variety of bakery products and pastries and everything what you like. Just coffee had standard poor quality, they haven't got a proper coffee machine. Dinner also offered a great choice with salad bar, multiple meats, fish. Cold water is served for free. Hotel pool is really big. There is also a basket with water toys and swimming jackets, which multiply fun for kids. Two elevators out of 4 can descent to wellness area (-1 floor), so it is possible get there in bathrobes. Balaton is just 100 meters away, (paid) beach 200 meters. Hotel offers excellent views, ask for 12th floor if available. Definitely worth for your money, It exceeded our expectations.

Exceptional

Excellent value for money, location is perfect. Access to the private beach is a great bonus (you won't be on the overcrowded beach). The lobby also has an ATM where you can get cash in local currency. Also the massages are great. And the view of course!

If you wish to enjoy the silence during the stay, choose the room on the parking side. Otherwise you will hear the train, the road and people who are chilling on the terrace almost whole night. The coffee machine (during the breakfast) has all the coffes written in Hungarian only :)

The food was great. The spa facilities were better than average. Staff was very friendly but sadly did not speak English very well

Sadly most of the staff did not speak English so we had a lot of trouble communicating. The elevators around breakfast and dinner were always occupied which was quite a problem when we had to wait over 5-10 minutes just for an elevator. The TV was very old and the beds were sadly dirty. Housekeeping seemed understaffed since some days we would actually have to seek someone out to change our towels since we had not seen them clean our room for the whole day.

Good professional hotel to stay with pets.

Pets are allowed, complete facilities, complimentary dinner -- good selection. they have fitness and pool. the whole ambiance is good and near to the lake as well.

the facilities / interior are quite outdated or old. but it does not really matter because overall it is clean.

Definitely one of the best hotel around this area.

Breakfast has many choices for eating such as scrumbled eggs, joghurt, sussage, french fries etc., plus lots of variety of drinks. I liked the wellness, it has a 25 m long swimming pool with beautiful era. It has sauna sitting and so on... price/value is simply great.

I think dinner can be a bit more vicissitudinary but the taste of the dishes are awesome. When you get the restaurant about one hour before closing waiters are already looking their watches when their work will end up. This one makes me feel a little wierd cause dinner time lasts till 9 p.m. and at 8 p.m. there is still an hour till the end. Well this isn't such a big problem I guess but this is just how hungarians behave in hospitality unfortunately nowdays.
